They can burn with incredible emotion, or lay back, but there is never any denying the consummate artistry. Not all pianoless quartets are this successful." Alan Jones (One Final Note) wrote "The music here is as compelling as it is authentic" and concluded "accessible, structured music laced with heart-driven improvisation.
